Scalebound To Support Local 4-Player Co-op On Xbox One, According To Xbox Live

Microsoft announced at Gamescom 2015 that Scalebound is going to support 4-player co-op through Xbox Live, allowing gamers to join the same session of their friend in this epic action-RPG title by Platinum Games. But, according to Xbox Live, there's something more that Microsoft missed during its press conference. The game is said to support a local 4-player cooperative mode, which would mean the game is including split-screen gameplay.

Split-screen is not really common in modern video games and, while Star Wars Battlefront will have it at least on consoles (not on PC), we would surely raise some concerns about frame-rate in case the new mode should be confirmed.

Frame-rate has already looked pretty shaky at Gamescom 2015, so we don't really know if it would work properly with the screen split into four, trying to reach 30fps rock solid.

Anyway, waiting for a confirm or denial on Microsoft's side, would you enjoy such a mode, or you think it's time to go beyond split-screen gameplay? Let us know in the comments below.
