Microsoft
Founder and director, William H. Gates III, unloaded 2,000,000 shares (0.87% of his stake in Microsoft) for $90,641,800 via a single transaction on July 28. Following this, Mr. Gates now owns 226,992,934 Microsoft shares, priced at $10,641,428,746 as of Thursday.
Microsoft shares ticked up 1.27% to close at $46.88 on Thursday. Yesterday, the company announced it has partnered with a startup named Jasper. The team-up is supposed to allow customers to manage their devices via the duo’s cloud-based software.
Salesforce
President of sales and customer success, Maria Martinez sold 3,976 shares (12.63% of her stake in salesforce) for $290,048 through two transactions, one on July 28 and one July 29. After this, Ms. Martinez now has 27,492 shares left, valued at $2,016,813 as of Thursday.
Salesforce shares slipped 0.70% to trade at $73.36 on Thursday’s close. Earlier this week, the company announced it has extended its Salesforce1 Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) with the addition of Lightning Components and a “components” section in the Salesforce Marketplace.
Costco Wholesale
Executive VP of business centers, manufacturing, and ancillary businesses, Timothy L. Rose sold 1,415 shares (4.29% of his stake in Costco) for $205,996 through a single transaction on July 30. Following this, Mr. Rose now has 31,503 shares left, priced at $4,577,386 as of Thursday.
