THE ROAD TO GAMESCOM

WE’RE OFF ON A ROAD TRIP, DESTINATION COLOGNE. FIND OUT HOW YOU CAN BECOME PART OF OUR GAMESCOM ADVENTURE.






It’s hard to imagine that just over a month ago we were in sun drenched downtown of Los Angeles for E3, but our eyes now turn to Europe as Need for Speed races into Cologne with the final destination set on gamescom.

Gamescom is going to be an incredibly exciting moment for us, as it signals the very first time that Need for Speed will be playable by you, our community.

What can I play?

You’ll be able to step into the garage and customize your car before hitting the streets of Ventura Bay. Take part in a number of events or just free ride around the city, the choice is yours.

Five cars will be sat in the garage, ready and waiting for you, customize them as you wish or run as stock.

Dive deep into the Five Ways to Play - Speed, Style, Build, Crew, and Outlaw. Combining all five to create that perfect Need for Speed moment; driving insanely fast, sliding through a corner in your customized ride alongside your friends, whilst being chased by the cops.






We’ll be capturing snapshots of all the cars that get created so you may want to do your best in terms of aesthetics, we will be watching and uploading some of our favourites to the website once gamescom draws to a close.

Press Conference

Need for Speed will be part of the EA Press Conference which takes place at 09:30 CEST, 08:30 BST, 03:30 EDT and 00:30 PDT on Wednesday August 5th.

Picking up where we left off at E3 we’ll be back on stage talking Need for Speed. We’ll have new trailers to show and new details to divulge, so be sure to tune in.
