Microsoft has retained the ever-so-classic game Solitaire in the new Windows 10

Before we were introduced to games like Angry Birds, Candy Crush, and Clash of Clans, we had the classic Solitaire available on Windows. Regardless of what one says about the game, we have all spent hours trying to master it.

Microsoft has retained the ever-so-classic game Solitaire in the new Windows 10. However, users would now be exposed to a rather refurbished version of the game.

Windows users got accustomed to the game that the company left them dazzled after it was discovered that the Windows 8 had missed out on Solitaire.

After not being included in Windows 8 as a pre-installed game, Solitaire is back, pre-installed on Windows 10 as the company rejoices 25 years of the addictive card-game. The game is being rolled out along with a new version of FreeCell, in a bundle named “Microsoft Solitaire Collection.”

You ought to dish out as little as $1.49 a-month, or go for the yearly plan, priced at $9.99, following which you should get rid of the in-game advertisements. Furthermore, you get coins, and a special boost.

Terry Myserson, head of Windows at Microsoft claims that a new era is upon us following the launch of Windows 10. Mr.Myserson stated: “From the beginning, Windows 10 has been unique – built with feedback from over 5m fans, delivered as a service and offered as a free upgrade...Windows 10 delivers on our more personal computing vision, with a natural, mobile and trusted experience. Along with our partners, we're excited to deliver the best Windows ever, which will empower people and organizations around the world to do great things.”

In-game purchases have worked well for a number of developers lately, although it is hard to see why anyone would charge for a card game, particularly when you consider the fact that it has been around for over two decades. While the payments only help you get rid of the advertisement, it still comes down as nothing short of a bizarre move to many.
