It won’t be too much longer now before you can rock an Androidphone that offers a pure Microsoft experience. They’ve got another app ready to roll, and this one is set to replace your default launcher.
It’s called Arrow Launcher, and it joins Microsoft’s already massive stable of Android apps. Like most launchers, Arrow supports multiple pages, though swiping left and right is locked to two specific functions right now. Left brings up contacts, right brings up reminders and a to-do list. Don’t like the same wallpaper on your phone for weeks at a time? Arrow can automatically swap in Bing’s big, beautiful daily backgrounds.
Last year, there were numerous rumors floating around that Microsoft was actually going to build an Android phone. It seemed like an outlandish proposition, but then Nokia churned one out while under Microsoft’s control. Now that they’re developing their own launcher, it really makes you wonder what they’re up to.
