EA Access members on Xbox One can check out the EA Sports Hockey League beta

EA Sports won't release NHL 16, the next game in its pro hockey series, until September 15. However, a major part of that game, the EA Sports Hockey League, can be tried out now in beta form if you are a member of the EA Access subscription service on the Xbox One console.

EA Access already allows gamers to play over 10 full EA games for $4.99 a month or $29.99 for a year. Those users can download NHL 15 to get the access to EA Sports Hockey League beta. EA says:

"This fan-favorite online team mode has been reimagined and lets you choose specialized player classes to deliver a balanced competitive experience on the ice. Player skill and your ability to play as a team will now be the determining factor in who wins and loses hockey games."
