The PS4 is the hottest gaming console of 2015 and Bidness Etc explains why
2015 is already looking like an amazing year for gaming. We have some incredible games available for current-gen consoles this year, and if there is a time to get a Sony Corp. (ADR) (NYSE:SNE) PlayStation 4, it’s now. Why would we recommend it over Microsoft Corporation Xbox One? That’s because it’s an incredible console. If 25.3 million units sold globally since November 2013 isn’t more than enough reason, then just take a look at the games. From first-party exclusives to third-party multiplatform hits, there is something for everyone. In fact, the games library has greatly expanded and it has not even been two years since the launch of the PS4.
We know that some gamers don’t care about sales figures, and that it’s the games that matter for them. This year alone, you can get games such as the bestselling Batman: Arkham Knight, the exclusive Bloodborne, exciting roleplaying title The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and even the latest entry in the long-running fighting series Mortal Kombat X. Shooter fans can get a kick out of Battlefield: Hardline, also released this year, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, launched last fall. COD Advanced Warfare features new Exo suits in multiplayer and an intense and captivating single-player campaign featuring Oscar-winning Hollywood superstar Kevin Spacey as the main antagonist. Role-playing fans should also take a look at BioWare’s Dragon Age: Inquisition, while Lord of the Rings fans will totally love Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Soccer fans, meanwhile, should check out Electronic Arts Sports FIFA 15.
This is just a small sample of the games library that the PS4 offers. The console’s system software has been updated to finally introduce the revolutionary new Share Play feature and suspend/resume. Share Play allows you to remotely get a friend to join in your gameplay experiences and even virtually take over in tough parts of the game. One of the two Share Play friends needs to be a PlayStation Plus member. Suspend/resume allows you to simply put your console on standby while the game is running, and resume from where you left off when you wake up the console.
With all these incredible features, the powerful PS4 packs a huge punch, and with better games to come in 2016 and beyond, there is no better time to purchase the console than now.
