Best Buy Xbox One Samsung HDTV package

Customers looking to purchase a next-generation gaming console and a Smart TV but are not able to decide which one to spend on are in luck, as a new deal could make it affordable to purchase both at the same time.

Retail giant Best Buy has released a $500 package that includes a 500GB Xbox One Halo: Master Chief Collection Bundle and a 40-inch Samsung 1080p Smart HDTV.

With the Samsung 1080p Smart HDTV selling for an on-sale price of $400 and the 500GB Xbox One Halo: Master Chief Collection Bundle selling for $350, the $500 package represents a $250 discount for customers that will take advantage of the offer.

The offer was launched on Aug. 9, and it will only run for a one-week period until Aug. 15.

According to Best Buy, the $500 package is aimed at college students.

"It's the perfect college student deal, as a gaming console like the Xbox One is a college essential and a 40-inch TV is a great size for a dorm room," said Best Buy in a statement.

The Samsung TV included in the bundle is an LED TV, which allows it to perform well in a variety of lighting conditions. The TV is capable of up to 1080p resolution to display HD content properly with motion rate 60 for reduced blurring, wide color enhancer for vivid and bright colors, and eco sensor for brightness adjustments.

The Samsung TV is also smart enabled, allowing users to connect to the Internet to be able to stream shows, movies and music, along with access to various kinds of content.

The 500GB Xbox One Halo: Master Chief Collection Bundle, on the other hand, includes a 500GB Xbox One console and controller and a full copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The game features Halo Combat Evolved: Anniversary, a newly remastered Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3 and Halo 4. Gamers are given access to all 45 campaign missions, along with over 100 Spartan Ops and multiplayer maps in 60fps and 1080p.

The title also grants gamers access to Halo: Nightfall, a new live-action digital series helmed by executive producer Ridley Scott.

Gamers that can take advantage of the offer should definitely do so, as this is one of the best Xbox One packages yet.
