'Captain America: Civil War' release date, cast news: Sebastian Stan's thoughts on Ant-Man in 'Civil War'

In the comics, the "Civil War" was a very big event. The on-screen counterpart, however, bears the pressure of being worthy.

A reprot from Tech Times reveals that Ant-Man is set to play a bigger part in "Civil War." As it appears, Ant-Man has a likely chance of becoming Giant Man in Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War," according to Ant-Man director Peyton Reed. Scott Lang and Hank Pym, according to the article, carried the mantle of Giant Man so it wouldn't be strange if it happened in the Cinematic Universe.

Hank Pym and Scott Lang, his successor, have the technology to shrink something and revert it to regular size, according to Reed. It wouldn't be strange, he says, if either one develops the technology to make them grow bigger than their normal size. However, it seems like there is no need for Ant-Man to explore the technology just yet.

It would be interesting to see whose side Ant-Man is on, as "Civil War" tries to fill its roster of superheroes further.

In this Blastr report, Sebastian Stan offered his own thoughts at the end credits of Ant-Man.

If people will recall, in the end credits of "Ant-Man," Bucky Barnes makes an appearance. His cybernetic arm was trapped in a huge vise and he was mouthing "Help me." This is also the first time in a long time we get to see Cap and the Falcon. They think of who to call for help until Falcon finally decides on calling Scott Lang.

Sebastian Stan offered a hypothesis, saying that "there might be a whole lot more to the scene" and that someone put him in the sticky situation.

It's interesting to think that someone from the opposing side could have placed him there, and it very well could have been Tony Stark himself.

Big things are in store for "Captain America: Civil War," which is set to premiere on May 6 next year.
